We sat down with Brax to dig into the meaning behind the album and his mindset moving forward.

 On the name “Still Booted”

 “The name comes from how my life has been these past two years,” Brax explained. “It feels like a drug-induced movie.”

 On the process of creating the project

 “This album is over two years’ worth of songs. I tried a lot of style switching, really figuring out what works best for me.”

 On artistic growth

 “Honestly, everything has improved—my flow, my cadence, my bars, my beats. And the production? It’s on a whole different level now.”

 On the future

 “I’m just getting started. The next project, I’m bringing back that no-auto, hard-hitting sound the fans love so much. They can definitely look forward to that.”

 As one of the driving forces of the Rugratz collective, Brax represents more than just consistency—he represents progression.
